GOSTWIND

"고스트윈드(GOSTWIND)"는 2005년에 데뷔하여 한국적인 K-Rock을 지향하며 '국악록'이라는 신생 장르를 탄생시켰고 지금까지 꾸준히 지켜오고 있다.

멤버는 2025년 현재 류근상(드럼/리더), 김병찬(기타), 신승민(대금), 조영경(보컬), 박한성(베이스), 정도현(해금) 으로 활동하고 있다. 

정규앨범 1,2,3 집과 여러 공연매체를 통해 “국악과 락”의 혼합에 대한 음악적 정형화를 현실화 시키며 국내는 물론 해외의 록음악팬들로 부터도 찬사를 받고 있다. 정규 3집 앨범 “Kkokdugaksi (꼭두각시)는 그동안의 더욱 성숙해진 음악적 감각과 경험으로 세계 어느 누구도 흉내 낼 수 없는 그들 만의 독창적 록 퍼포먼스를 연출해내고, 사물놀이, 국악관현악, 윈드오케스트라등 과 콜라보 공연을 통해 훌륭히 연출한 바 있다.

많은 활동과 다양한 시도를 했던 20년의 시간 동안 다져진 내공으로 2025년 발매된 정규 4번째 앨범 "Blue Ocean" 은 판소리, 해금, 대금 등의 국악적인 요소를 지키면서 시대의 트렌드를 반영한 다양하면서 독특한 고스트윈드만의 음악이 수록되어 있다. 

고스트윈드의 끊임없는 예술적 도전은 계속되고 있으며, 앞으로 더욱 다양한 무대와 실험적 창작을 통해 국내외 팬들과 더 많은 교류를 할 계획이다.

"GOSTWIND" is the world's only Korean-style rock band that combines Western rock music with traditional Korean music in an organic fusion. Through their first, second, and third studio albums, as well as various live performances, they have realized musical formalization of the fusion of "gugak (Korean traditional music) and rock", receiving praise from both domestic and international rock music fans.

The 3rd album, "Kkokdugaksi", showcases a more mature musical sensibility and experience, delivering a uniquely original rock performance that no one else in the world can imitate. They have also delivered remarkable collaborative performances with Samulnori ensembles, Korean traditional orchestras, and wind orchestras.

Armed with two decades of experience and creative exploration, their fourth full-length album, "Blue Ocean", released in 2025, features GOSTWIND’s signature sound—diverse and distinctive—while preserving traditional elements such as pansori, haegeum, and daegeum, all while reflecting current musical trends.
